Charles Werz, President

P1010543_1000pxCharles Werz, President and founder of Nano-Concepts, is a veteran entrepreneur and forward-thinking leader in the applications of nanotechnology and has more than 20 years of senior management experience. In 1986, Charles co-founded and operated a company that pioneered the use of chemicals and techniques to clean and restore acoustical ceilings as an alternative to painting or replacing them. That business grew from a service provider to a manufacturing company who recruited and put others into the ceiling restoration business. In 1992, Charles developed a floor safety product in response to a giant void in the business services industry. In 1995, the company was named to Inc. magazine’s Inc. 500 List of the fastest-growing privately held companies in the country. Around 2010, Charles became interested in the world of nanotechnology, particularly nano coatings — which have the ability to change the world as we know it. He used his experience in finding and exploiting specific niche markets to find applications for these new technologies and solve problems in the marketplace. In 2012, after the dissolution of his previous company, Charles founded Applied Nano-Concepts, bringing three unique business services to market. Charles is married to Pam and they have one grandson, 7-year-old Tavish.

Steve Sewell, Vice President of Business Development

P1010554_1000pxSteve Sewell serves as the Vice President of Business Development with Nano-Concepts and is an industry professional with 20 years of proven leadership, managment and sales/marketing experience.  In his role, Steve is the go-to resource for all potential new Nano-Concepts business owners.  Steve helps them to ramp up their business by providing one on one support in areas such as training, developing 30-60-90 day growth plans, marketing and sales.

Steve remains an important resource to owner-operators as they become meaningful contributors to their local communities, and he is available to answer questions as they come up.  Steve lives with his family, Michelle and Jo Jo, in Atlanta, Georgia and splits his time between the corporate office in Daytona Beach, FL and Atlanta.  Steve and Michelle love landscaping and live music.  Steve is a semi-retired professional musician and loves playing the guitar, riding his Harley Davidson, and helping entrepreneurs achieve the dream of owning their own business.

Greg Ohlinger, Director of Business Development

SnipImage  Greg has been involved in the floor safety industry since 1996, having previously worked in the fields of construction, commercial and residential real estate, as well as in sales management and training. His extensive “hands on” experience and knowledge of floor safety and flooring materials led to early standards used in the industry that are still in use to this day. This also led to his work in customer service consultancy for organizations ranging from the military, manufacturing, hospital/healthcare, local/national retail, hotelier, and corporate America through Slipprooffloors.com. Greg was instrumental in the development of technical protocols and sales techniques, which have become integral to the Nano-Grip® system. He has recruited Nano-Concepts owner-operators and made hundreds of men and women successful in the floor safety business. Greg is a pilot, an accomplished musician and the proud father of four adult children.

John Rousseau, Customer Service Manager

Johns Head Shot_1000pxWith more than 20 years of hands-on field experience, including the sales and service sides of the business, John is ideally suited to help address the questions and concerns of new owner-operators. Before entering our industry, John spent 15 years in large group health insurance sales.

 

 

 

 

 

Cheryl Cerrella, Customer Service Liaison

Cheryl is the first voice you’ll hear when calling Nano-Concepts.  She has an amazing personality and is all about customer service.  She brings 20 years of customer service experience to our company. Here she is involved with every aspect of making sure our current and new operators are taken care of no matter what the need.  Whether it’s taking a product order from a current operator or helping a new business owner with travel arrangements to training Cheryl handles each request professionally and timely.   Have questions?  Give Cheryl a call and get to know her.  She’s a great asset to know!
